It is in fact the only time played live. It was recorded by Elvis, Johnny Rivers, Spencer Davis Group (would've loved to hear Winwood's take on it), and many others. The full title is "I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water".

Always loved that one . Jerry and Keith really go to town on it . Jerry is just to so soulful on it . I actually like it better than his Hank William>Jerry Lee Lewis version of "You Win Again" , that he was doing at the time .
That's one I would like to have asked Garcia about .
